HISTORY
For five generations, Audibert family has cultivated the vineyards of Château de Calavon with the same conviction: every generation is entrusted with preserving and enriching a living heritage before passing it on.
Today, the estate spans more than 80 hectares of vineyards, surrounded by over 300 hectares of forest and Mediterranean garrigue. This remarkable natural environment is protected under the Natura 2000 programme, providing a sanctuary for exceptional biodiversity, including the endangered Bonelli’s eagle. Together, these living landscapes shape the unique expression of Château de Calavon’s wines and olive oils.

THE
TERROIR
At the heart of Provence, Château de Calavon has been organically farmed since 2013. Across its historic vineyards surrounding the Château and the more recent plots of La Crémade, each parcel contributes its own character to wines that faithfully express the identity of our terroirs.
Le Château
Surrounding the Château, the estate’s historic vineyard has been cultivated for generations on clay-limestone soils overlooking Provence. These old vines continue to produce elegant, complex wines that reflect the enduring identity of Château de Calavon.
La Crémade
La Crémade expands Château de Calavon’s mosaic of terroirs. Together, its younger plantings and remarkable old vines provide the diversity needed to craft balanced, expressive wines that remain true to their origin.
The olive grove
Alongside the vineyards, Château de Calavon’s olive groves are an integral part of the estate’s heritage. From century-old trees to more recent plantings, they produce AOP Aix-en-Provence olive oils that express the same commitment to authenticity, craftsmanship and respect for the land.

WINEMAKER
A native of the Pays d’Aix, Arnold Mas shares Famille Audibert’s commitment to revealing each terroir with precision and authenticity. Combining respect for the estate’s heritage with a contemporary approach to viticulture and winemaking, he works with one ambition: to craft sincere wines that faithfully express their origin while preparing the vineyard for future generations.

Organic farming is more than a certification—it reflects our responsibility as custodians of this estate. Every decision made by our vineyard manager Laurent Brunet, is guided by a long-term vision: preserving healthy soils, encouraging biodiversity and passing on thriving vineyards and natural landscapes to future generations.
Beyond our vineyard, we care for over 300 hectares of forest and Mediterranean garrigue. Grazing livestock, cover crops and the protection of natural habitats help sustain a living ecosystem where wildlife—including the endangered Bonelli’s eagle—can flourish.
